Our interactive workshops aim to promote strategies to reduce household energy costs and improve household energy efficiency. During the workshops, we discuss basic energy and electricity information, the benefits of energy efficiency, and available financial supports through Mass Save and other assistance programs.

We offer workshops at community centers, after-school programs, senior facilities, libraries, and other community-serving organizations. They are free of charge and open to the public. Each workshop is thoughtfully tailored to the audience's general age group and the context of the community we are serving.

In 2024, our adult workshop series included specific events for renters, residents who speak languages other than English, and low-income households. Topics covered include electricity utility bill components, the health and financial benefits of an energy-efficient home, common electricity-related scams, and more.

Our youth workshops included lessons on the sources of electricity and what it means to be energy-efficient, a visualization of solar power using solar-activated beads, and participation in Climable’s version of the climate ribbon activity to encourage reflection on the local impacts of climate change and possible solutions.
